BIOGRAPHY
PAST
Anna comes from Venice, Italy from a long line of magic users. She was raised by her grandfather after the death of her mother at a very young age. Her grandfather ran a small magic shop and bookstore. If you don't know much about the magic community in Venice, it predates the founding of the city of Venice itself. The area was once a lagoon, and came into existence at the stroke of noon on the 25th March, 421 A.D. after a great magical family came and wiped out the original witches that lived there. To this day, this family of knights runs most of Venice, though with declining numbers and support from the church long gone, they aren’t nearly the powerhouse they once were.Venice has long been a magical trading port that deals in the rare and bizarre. Anna found one such item in her grandfather’s wares one fateful day after his death, and at the age of sixteen, rather than leave her destiny to mortals, packed a bag and followed her fate across the sea to Lindow, where she sought out the greatest library in existence, and became an apprentice of the library itself.
PRESENT
Anna’s magical history is skewed, both her parents came from magical backgrounds, but her mother’s was considered impure and unclean by her father’s family. So there was never an option for her to go to her father’s family. That family considered purity of magic and blood to be of the highest importance. Only the strongest of magical bloodlines could enter their family.Anna’s strength lies in her ability to disarm and avoid a fight when a fight is not necessary. She studies apothecary and alchemy, old magicks that are rare to find in this world that were practiced and maintained by her grandfather for many years in their shop. With the basics ingrained in her from a young age and the vast and neverending knowledge the library has hidden its walls, she’s become quite the enchanter.
